"One of the key components of my stories Trapped on Draconica, and later Legacy of the Dragonkin are the Dragonkin themselves. The Dragonkin are four sisters that were granted powers of the last dragon, Dronor, before his death. Dragons have played an important part in the history of the planet Draconica, having learned the secrets of travelling from one world to the next – creating life on their own world based on those very worlds. They are the equivalent to gods on Draconica. The Dragonkin were created so that the memories of the dragons would never be forgotten. The Dragonkin will also play an important role in the future of Draconica – even if they themselves do not know it."
